Week One: All About Me!

Well--here we go! This year I have 6 returning preschoolers and 2 new kiddos. It has made for a VERY easy adjustment period. We are spending most of our time having a blast!

Here's this year's cast of kids:

Brooke--this is her first school experience without her big sister nearby. Bailey is in kindergarten now and Brooke is slowly getting the hang of playing with other kids. She spends a lot of time as my shadow--which is just fine with me :)
Noah! He's an experienced pro at preschool and is having a great year.

Karsyn is one of the youngest kids, but has been in my preschool the longest (figure THAT out!). Actually, she started coming when she was 5 months old (and two days after I had my cast removed from my broken elbow!).
Sarah and Karsyn are cousins. And in some ways, they are the same person. When you've got one, you've got them both!
Ezra is having a great year. He and Desi are our farthest commuters--but it's worth the drive to come and play!
Eastyn has been through all this before, too. He's really turned into a chatterbox this year!
Desi is new to our school but her brother came here 2 years ago. So she already knew what to expect before she got here. Her real name is the longest of anyone in school...and the most Shakespearean.
Jake is our other new friend! He just moved to our town a few months ago and is already fitting right in. We're so lucky to have him with us!

As part of All About Me Week, we built our houses out of graham crackers, marshmallows, and pretzel sticks. With goldfish for roof tiles.

Sarah checking her work.
Desi on Quality Control.
Eastyn is very pleased with his building.
Playing legos.

Some kids like to quieter games at the table.
Wondering which mom is here first.
Making mirrors of ourselves.
Everyone has a job at school--Karsyn & Sarah wiped tables after snack time.
We also made our fruit pizza faces. Here we're trying to make the faces that our snacks have.
Getting ready for Circle Time (wait--is Desi YAWNING??? We're having fun, girl!)
Spiderman on the playground.
Helping Jourdan take a turn as Spidergirl (we're sad she left already for BYU-I...can't wait for her to come back at Christmas!)
Checking out the fit.
Eastyn.
Karsyn & Sarah kissing goodbye because Karsyn is "off to work"
What I see right next to me on the playground...

Building our bodies out of meat and cheese. And pretzels and popcorn. Ezra's cheese pants.Jake's pretty impressed with himself.
Karsyn & Desi pose for the camera.
