Week Two: Colors & Shapes

We are really getting into the swing of things around here. This was a super week! We started out by sorting shapes and stacking them and making patterns.
Sarah and Karsyn both ask me to take their picture 500 times a day immediately followed by the command "Let me see it!"
I found this baby pool that is covered with (ironically) shapes and colors. We played a game with it where I would shout a shape and everyone would run around the preschool, find something that matched the shape I called and run back and toss it into the pool. It was ALMOST as fun as pretending to be kittens in the pool for the rest of the day (almost every preschooler spent time in this thing...and my own kids wanted to take turns sleeping in it!)
We went on a shape hunt. Here we are hoping the storm doesn't drench us! Karsyn has a green circle in her hand.
Standing on a rectangle.

This pipe made for some fun yelling.

Sarah from the inside.

Karsyn continues her circle hunt.
The sandbox.
Me and Karsyn wondering if the umbrella looked like an octagon. And me on the concrete.
Getting out the trains always makes the day go by so fast--we can't ever believe it's time to clean up already!
Dress-up by the fancy pants brigade.
Karsyn & Sarah...hanging out.
Showing off our puppets.
Brooke found a ball. It's just what we needed!
Jake has an oval...but who cares? Check out that rockstar belt!
One of our favorite moments of the day...waiting for moms while we ride bikes!
