Polar Animals Week

Polar Animals Week found us doing lots of fun stuff...

Our letter of the week was Xx. We criss-cross walked an X pattern. Whew!

We talked about penguins and polar bears and where they live and why they're polar.
And we also had our very own iceberg with polar animals (I think I caught Karsyn licking the ice here--which is appropriate because she LOVES cold things and can't stop herself from eating snow outside...even when it's a week old!)

Ty knew that he had a killer whale.

We talked about camouflage and how a polar bear hides--which explains why he is white! We made prints of polar bears in the snow. They were expert hiders.

The iceberg lasted 2 days before it melted--and our hands were frozen the entire time it was in preschool!

We learned that polar bears and penguins eat fish--so we had fishsticks, too!
We like our fish cooked and with ketchup. Polar bears like it different...

Karsyn with a pickle, of course.

Ty with his snowman.

Karsyn with her snowman.

Rafe showing the perfect snowman!

Picasso in the making.

We traced our names with snowflakes. Beautiful!

This ends our month of snowy goodness. We're about to get into some new and super fun topics--see you next week!
