Happy Valentine's Day!
We started off our week talking about the presidents that are part of President's Day. Here we are building log cabin snacks.

When it came to Valentine's Day activities, we had a super time with candy hearts. We organized them by color, counted them, and then graphed them to see which color had the most and least in our bag.

Making mailboxes for our valentine treats.
Every year, a few boys figure out that by standing on the cubbies they can make themselves into a bridge. And every year I take their picture doing it.
If kids beat me to the circle for circle time, they LOVE to pretend that they're the teacher by sitting in my place. Here they are pleased as punch to be the teachers.
Heart sandwiches.

Making traditional valentines with doilies, hearts, and confetti.

Predicting how many candy hearts will fit in our heart on our paper. And then counting to see how close we were.
I think Noah was the closest!
On our Valentine's Party Day. See the awesome treats everyone brought? Check out our edible bouquet. Ooh La La!

Valentine's Feast (featuring lots of the treats that friends brought to share).
Exchanging valentines.

Hope your Valentine's Day was as fun as ours!
